The Saint joseph Church of Zamalek is the parish founded by the comboni missionnaries. Zamalek is the geographical space purchased by the founder Saint Daniel Comboni. The particularity of the Christian community of Zamalek lies in its multicultiral diversity since its creation todate.
Being an island located in the Blue Nile, Zamalek was chosen as the seat of the embassies of different countries in Egypt. Consequently, the Christian community is mainly composed of these people and a few Egyptian families who live in Zamalek.
The pastoral ministry consists of animating and promoting that diversity. This is done through liturgical celebrations, cultural moments and meetings organized by the pastoral team (catechesis, Bible studies, prayer groups, etc.)
